After having my youngest son I knew that I wanted to get into shape and be healthier. I started with attending a regular gym and got board of the same classes all while being unsure what to do when it came to the weights. I then switched to trying to workout at home and couldn’t stay with any of the programs. After that I decided to try a personal trainer but found that it wasn’t a right fit for me either. After trying all of those avenues for a few years, I finally got the courage to try CrossFit and talked a friend into going with me.
I was hooked after my first day, even on vacations I found that I still wanted to get my workouts in. Sometimes I would just do workouts in the onsite gyms, other times I would drop into other CrossFit gyms. Not only has it helped tremendously with building my strength and cardio it has also become a HUGE help to my mental health. Working out regularly and lifting weights helps me stay balanced and be able to handle more stressful times in my life.
I decided after being in that community and seeing how kind and friendly everyone was that I wanted more from it. I wanted to learn everything I could and help others with their fitness journey. I decided to take my CF-L1 and start coaching. I have found more joy in my fitness journey and in helping others.
My motto “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.” And “Don’t be afraid to try something new.”
Denise Dupont-- PPF Adult-FIT TrainerMy fitness journey began after the birth of my third child. I started running as a way to lose the "baby weight". I loved the competitive aspect of running races, and it became my mission to improve my times. In order to do that, I tried PPF on the recommendation of a friend. From that first class, I was hooked. Immediately fitness became a lifestyle for me, and along the way, it has also become my passion. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, and CPR certified through The National Personal Training Association.Motto: Each new day is a new opportunity to improve yourself. Take it. And make the most of it.

Once a teacher always a teacher. Training is teaching your students to set goals and then follow through with a plan to achieve those goals. We all know the importance of continuously working to achieve and maintain a desired fitness level, regardless the amount of experience one may have. Their unique fitness goals are as important to me as they are to them. As a fitness coach, I have the unique opportunity to help others along their paths to a better- balanced life. Keeping physically fit is a lifetime goal that we all share.
